NTPC Full Form & Fees

NTPC full form is National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd. It falls under the Central Government and recruits hundreds of people each year in various departments.

NTPC Recruitment 2020 for the post of Executive Trainees, the payment of registration fees of Rs 150/- (applicable only for General/OBC candidates) can be done via online or offline mode, as mentioned in the following article.

NTPC Recruitment for Executive Trainees 2020 : Eligibility

Only those candidates who have acquired engineering in the specified disciplines, as mentioned in the detailed advertisement are eligible to apply i.e engineering graduates in the branch of Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, and Instrumentation.

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will have to appear for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2020.

Based on the GATE-2020 marks and requirement, candidates will be short listed for further selection process (GD and Interview).

The final merit list will be prepared based on 85% weight-age of GATE-2020 marks, 5% weight-age of GD marks and 10% weight-age of Interview marks. However, candidate has to qualify separately in GD & Interview. Please note that for ET-2020
recruitment, GATE marks of 2020 will only be valid.

NTPC Executive Trainees 2020 Recruitment: Salary

Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs.50,000-1,60,000 at the basic pay of Rs. 50,000/- during one-year training.

The other benefits such as Dearness Allowance, other perquisites and allowances, terminal benefits, etc. will be admissible as per company rules in force from time to time during training / after absorption.

The ETs will be regularized in same pay scale (Rs.50,000-1,60,000) after successful completion of training program.
