Age Limit

• Min Age: There is no age  limit
• Max Age: There is no age limit

• General : 2000/-
• SC / ST /PwD : 1000/-

Education qualification : CAT 2020

• The candidate must have a Graduation degree, in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% marks.
• The minimum mark requirement for SC / ST / PwD candidates is 45%.
• Candidates in the final year of their degree course may also apply.

CAT 2020 Exam Pattern

The Common Admission Test (CAT 2020) is now scheduled to be conducted on November 29, 2020. This year, the entrance exam will be conducted by Indian Institute of Management Indore. The online registration for CAT will start from August 5, 2020 to September 16, 2020.

Duration:
The entire test is held for a duration of 3 hours

Mode: CAT 2020 is a computer based test (CBT)

Language: It is held in English language only.

Total Number of Questions: There are a total of 100 questions in the exam.

Marking Scheme: Each question is of 3 marks and for selecting an incorrect answer, negative marking of 1 mark is done.

Type of questions: CAT has 2 type of questions – MCQs and TITA

MCQs: Multiple choice type, in which candidates have to choose 1 answer options multiple choices.

TITA: Type in the answers type questions. Here, the candidates have to type the answer using the virtual keyboard.

Sections: There are 3 sections in CAT, these sections are –

VARC: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension.

DILR: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning.

QA: Quantitative Ability.
