Before moving forward, we would like to make you aware about the term STET Bihar. Well, it’s also known as Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (BSTET) which is one of the highest searching bodies in Bihar district.
If you are one of the aspirants to make your career as a teacher, then you need to learn more about this. In general, STET Bihar happens to be a teacher’s eligibility test which is conducted by BSEB or Bihar School Examination Board.
The involvement of BSEB that directs STET Bihar is such that it tends to conduct recruitment for teachers at Higher Secondary Level (class 11-12) and Secondary Level (class 9-10).
Another crucial thing to be noted here is that Bihar Secondary school board conducts two papers (Paper I and Paper II) for two different level of exams as mentioned above.
Now, candidates are required to clear their written exams conducted by BSEB (Bihar Board) so as to become eligible for various teaching posts in various schools under Bihar government.
In addition to the above, the Bihar Secondary school board is also responsible to recruit teachers for the post of physical education which is generally conducted through BSTET.

September 3: Candidates are able to download their admit cards directly by clicking on the link as given on the official website of BSEB on September 3. The download link is also available on bsebstet2019.in as well.
August 31: BSEB (Bihar School Examination Board) is all set to announce Bihar STET admit card 2019 for re-exam very soon. The exam will be conducted through online mode from September 9, 2020. Please also know that admit cards are also available at bsebstet2019.in
August 26: STET Bihar admit card that was earlier planned to release on August 25 has been delayed for unknown reasons. However, there will be no change on the exam date which is September 9, 2020.
August 21: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the final dates for the release of admit cards for the posts of State Teachers Eligibility Test 2019. Also, the admit card is expected to be released on August 25, 2020. Stay tuned for updates.
August 12: Bihar STET re-exam dates are already announced. As per the update in this regard, BSTET re exam will be held between September 9-21 on different shift timings.
June 23: Bihar STET 2019 exam that was earlier cancelled after a similar report was submitted will now be held via online mode.
Bihar STET 2019: Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test schedule released
BSEB STET re-exam 2019: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on has announced the revised dates for conducting the online re-exam for state teachers’ eligibility test (STET) 2019.
As per the revised schedule, STET re-exam will be held from September 09-21, 2020 in different shifts. The Exams will be conducted on September 9, 10,11,14,15,16,17,18 and 21, 2020. The board may release admit cards on August 25, 2020 on its official website www.bsebstet2019.in.
The state education department has appointed the Bihar state electronics development corporation limited (BELTRON) to conduct the online STET re-examination.
The BSEB official has officially said, “The board has scheduled re-exam on nine days in various shifts in a bid to maintain social distancing among such a large number of examines.
Candidates have not been asked to apply or pay fee for re-exam as their candidature is still valid. Applicants will be communicated their exam date, exam center through admit cards which will be issued on August 25.”
Earlier on January 28, 2020, a total of 2,47,241 students took the STET exam held across 317 centers. Later, the examination was cancelled in May after various cases of irregularities and paper leak during the exam were reported.
STET exam was held after a gap of eight years for recruitment of higher and higher secondary school teachers.
