What is “Order Aadhaar Card” service?

It is a unique new service launched by UIDAI which enables the Aadhaar holder to get their Aadhaar details printed on PVC card by paying nominal charges of Rs 50/-. Moreover, the residents who do not have registered mobile number can also order using any other Non-Registered or other Alternate Mobile Number.

This card contains security features like:

  • Secure QR Code
  • Hologram
  • Micro text
  • Ghost image
  • Issue Date & Print Date
  • Guilloche Pattern
  • Embossed Aadhaar Logo

Fees to be paid for “PVC Aadhaar Card”?

Interested user need to pay Rs.50/- (Inclusive of GST & speed post charges).

How one can raise the request for “Aadhaar Card”?

The user need to visit the official website of UIDAI [email protected] http://www.uidai.gov.in or https://resident.uidai.gov.in using existing 12 digits Aadhaar Number (UID) or 16 digits Virtual Identification Number (VID) or 28 digits Enrollment ID. The user can also raise a request by using registered or non-registered mobile number.

Following steps shows how to raise request using Registered Mobile Number?

  • The user need to visit https://uidai.gov.in or https://resident.uidai.gov.in
  • Now, click on “Order Aadhaar Card” Service.
  • Then, enter the 12 digit Aadhaar Number (UID) or 16 digit Virtual Identification Number (VID) or 28 digits Enrollment ID given by UIDAI.
  • Enter the security code
  • Then, enter OTP/TOTP received on registered mobile number.
  • Now, click and accept the “Terms and Conditions”. 
  • Click on “Submit” Button to complete OTP/TOTP verification.
  • On next subsequent screen, Aadhaar details preview will appear for verification by the Aadhaar holder for placing the PVC Card to reprint. 
  • Now, click on “Make payment”. You will be re-directed to Payment Gateway page with payment options as Credit/Debit Card, Net banking and UPI.
  • Applicants may track the status of SRN on the link as given on mobile or on DoP website.

 

How to raise request using Non-Registered/Alternate Mobile Number?

  • You need to visit the UIDAI official website @ uidai.gov.in or @ resident.uidai.gov.in
  • Then click on “Order Aadhaar Card” Service.
  • Now enter your 12 digit Aadhaar Number (UID) or 16 digit Virtual Identification Number (VID) or 28 digits Enrollment ID.
  • Please enter Non-Registered / Alternate Mobile Number.
  • Click on “Send OTP”
  • Click on “Submit” Button to complete OTP verification.
  • No preview of the Aadhaar details will be available.
  • Click on “Make payment”. You will be re-directed to Payment Gateway page with payment options as Credit/Debit Card, Net banking and UPI.
  • Which are the modes available to make the payment?

Presently, the payment can be made using Online Mode of Payment. 

  • Credit Card or;
  • Debit Card or;
  • Net Banking and
  • UPI

What is SRN?

SRN is a 28 digits Service Request Number.

What is AWB number?

Airway Bill Number.

How Aadhaar Card is different from Aadhaar Letter?

Aadhaar letter is laminated paper based document issued to the residents after enrolment and update. Its a PVC card with security features. The resident may use any of these forms of Aadhaar issued by UIDAI. The ‘’Order Aadhaar PVC Card” will be available similar to online “Order Aadhaar Reprint” Service.
